Child friendly: he’s great with older children (lives with two teenage children in his foster home)

Dog friendly: usually good with other dogs, although slightly unpredictable and snappy on occasion

​

Cat friendly: not tested with cats, but due to his chasing, he probably couldn’t live with one

​

Temperament: Absolutely gorgeous young dog. Loves to play with balls and tug. He is affectionate but prefers walks to cuddles. He will chase anything from a car to the broom. Friendly, playful, bouncy, high energy; typical Border Collie.

Behaviour/Training needs:
He needs really good foundation training in everything. He has a high chase drive and will need ongoing training with this. He sleeps well and settles in a crate. He is currently a bit chewy! So needs to be watched.

Health: passed his general health check

Ideal home:
Milo will make a fabulous dog for someone rural or semi rural with lots of energy and time. Border Collie experience beneficial.

Milo is one of our UK rescue dogs who was surrendered into our care when the previous owners found themselves unable to give this high energy pup what he needs.
