She ended up in the shelter when someone called them to 'clean up' this unsightly dog from their area or they would take matters into their own hands, meaning Cleo was at danger of being poisoned or shot.

PENNY

IN FOSTER FROM 27th NOV - 29th DEC (reserved for adoption)

Young wriggle bottom pup Penny was brought into the shelter by workers of a nearby power plant. The power plant was not a safe place for a stray pup looking for shelter, food and affection. She was lucky to find a space in the shelter owner's doggy room and did not have to face the shock of being put into the big shelter where in all likelihood she would not have survived. The photos show her on the day of her rescue and also when she went into quarantine.

Bojan the shelter owner said: 'I just have to say that you need to immagine SCRAT (a squirel from Ice Age) and you will find a perfect description of Penny 🙂'
