Hello my name is Skye and I am one of the lucky ones.

My rescue story begins in Bosnia where I tried to survive as an abandoned street dog. The photos show me on the day of my rescue, before I got taken inside the shelter. One day, in the middle of a harsh snowy winter this kind and friendly man from the Bark Ark shelter was called to pick me up. And that was just as well as I had no food or shelter and there were people out to get me.

This wasn’t very long ago and to my happy surprise I have heard that Paws2Freedom spotted me and has already found me my very own forever home. Can you imagine my excitement!! I will be living with another lovely dog like me who also stayed in the Bark Ark shelter for a while. You remember Jet? The dog who got so badly injured by other dogs when the fence broke? He will be my new brother and the lovely people who took him into their hearts and home will be my new parents.

Their lovely granddaughter also adores dogs very, very much and she gave my my beautiful name. I am very proud to have a name of my own and such lovely one too.

I am a very lucky girl! But of course I need to be prepared for my travel to England and then there are the travel costs themselves. It’s a very long journey. We are estimating around £500 to cover all my costs.

If you would like to become my guardian angel on my rescue journey and help me get my ticket to freedom, please could you give a little bit for me? I know times are hard, but I cannot do this without out. Paws2Freedom are only a very small rescue and often struggling.
