Hello my name is Teddy and I would like to tell you my story.

My life started as an abandoned street dog. I did not have much luck and sustained a very bad injury which nobody treated, so I was left to heal on my own. Sadly it did not heal straight and my thigh bone is now deformed. This left me with a limp which I will have for life. But it's not holding me back! I am loving life and am a friendly doggy. I was in the shelter for a long time, waiting for years. Then one day someone finally came along and wanted me despite my limp. My bone was broken a very long time ago, most likely when I was a pup. I don't walk like other dogs, but I can run, jump and play like the rest of them. I really don't mind the way I am. It's me and I love life! The vet who took my x-rays knows that I am not in pain and that I will live a normal life. They named me Teddy and I thought I would be able to travel, but then ... just as I was to go on the happy bus... they decided that they did not want me after all, they picked another dog who was able to walk normally and named her Teddy too. So I ended up back in the busy shelter... waiting again. When Paws2Freedom heard my story they didn't hesitate to change my luck and made sure I was on the next available transport which is late May. So here I am - I am finally chosen and travelling to the UK where my life is looking so much happier. And even better!!!... I already have a foster family waiting for me who already love me so much that if I like living with them they will offer me my very own forever home. Isn't that just amazing! They want me just as I am!!! I am sooooo happy.

Please enjoy my photos below. Most of them are from when they took me out of the shelter recently and one of me in the shelter. I was quite confused on the day, because I didn't know what was going to happen to me and as you can tell, my fur needs a bit of TLC after my time in the shelter. You can see my x-rays too. And I have added a video where you can watch me on the day of my initial rescue and also how I walk.

If you would like to support me a bit I would be ever so grateful. If you could mark your kind giving with ‘Teddy’ then your funds will be put towards my costs.

And if you would like to apply for giving me my forever home please complete an application form as a first step. But please bear in mind that I am advertized on other sites too and I hope that you understand that there may be more than one application to my name by the time you have completed yours for me.

Thank you so much from my little happy heart and fluffy black  paws ~ Love, Teddy ♥
